Talking Branding
Brief:
Create a language led, visual identity for a new venture that demonstrates flexibility in message and execution. Your brand/offer will be developed for a charity, event, destination, campaign or service.




Solution:
I was given the category destination so here I created an unusual and fun egg theme park attraction. I devised three touchpoints for my attraction in order to ensure customers can be engaged in a variety of ways. The physical touchpoints, ideally purchased once you visit the island, are a plethora of egg themed objects and souvenirs. The spatial touchpoint are these large and bright billboards which will entice a fun-loving audience with their unusual imagery and playful language as they do their daily exploring. Lastly, the digital touchoint is the short animation above that could be played on the theme park’s website or on social media pages.


Process:
This was such a fun and silly process in which I just decided to take such a random topic and push it as far as I could in a serious way. There was a lot of thinking about how to make the idea obvious to viewers while still keeping its uniqueness. I did this through the language used and colour scheme. After getting some feedback from my lecturer I tried a more simplistic approach with the branding using a more analogue style to get the promotional images.
