I created a collection of matchbooks with matches that also act as candles. Each design is based on a different birthday milestone. I choose birthdays to fulfil this brief because I've always found them to be special and a beautiful celebration of life. In addition to this, I don't see birthdays being represented creatively very often, so I thought it would be interesting to attempt this.
