Better with Blu
Brief:
Here I was tasked with creating a compelling campaign that leverages the distinctive assets of a brand. I chose Bostik's world-renowned Blu Tack® as I felt its recognisability could be used to make their existing assets even stronger in a more playful way. As part of this campaign I included a short advertising video that could be featured across social media channels or on TV.



Solution:
I created a campaign that mainly utilises engaging guerrilla marketing techniques to showcase how reliable the product is in a comedic and hyperbolic manner. By doing this, viewers can interact with and be intrigued by the installments prompting them to keep endorsing and trusting Bostik as an authentic brand. The large Blu Tack® sculptures are meant to emphasise that Blu Tack® is the best and original product for helping us stick anything, anywhere.




Process:
During this process I tested a variety of ways to simultaneously display Blu Tack®'s versatility, originality, reusability and reliability. This included physically experimenting with mark making as well as considering which phrases and formats would be the most effective to use. This was one of my favourite briefs because it allowed me to be creatively witty whilst learning about branding and advertising in an in depth way.
