Book Cover Brief
Solution:
For the cover, I designed an image that spreads across the front and back cover to make for an interesting dynamic surprise as the customer picks up the book. The illustrations incorporate central imageries and topics depicted in the book while not giving too much away.
Process:
The idea for this design came from us playfully experimenting with paper and markers in a studio session at University. The haphazard tear reminded me of how things often didn’t go to plan for the protagonist, Wash, in the book. This lead me to keep developing this idea digitally to create a sleek but intriguing cover.
